Help and Documentation

This page explains every core Rarchive workflow: snapshotting profiles, rooms, images, queue behavior, etc.

How to Snapshot Your Profile

  1. Open Users.
  2. Search your username or display name in the search box.
  3. Find your row and click it.
  4. This will open your profile page to view timeline versions, bio history, and image wall.

If a snapshot is not queued instantly, cooldown or queue load may be active. Check Queue for status.

How to Snapshot Rooms

  • Index Room: Enter one room name to queue it.
  • Index Owner Rooms: Enter an owner username to queue all owned rooms.
  • Search Rooms: Find rooms first, then click Index on the target row.

Open a room page after indexing to see details, stats, and room images.

How to Snapshot Images

  • Open any profile page and use Where's my image?.
  • Paste a RecNet link like https://rec.net/image/123456789.
  • Submit to queue background indexing for that image.

Image and profile metadata may appear progressively while queue jobs finish.

Understanding Queue and Loading States

  • Queue page shows waiting, processing, completed, and ETA.
  • Loading badges mean data is still indexing in background.
  • Cooldown messages prevent duplicate re-index spam.

Troubleshooting

  • No search results: try exact username and display name variants.
  • Snapshot not immediate: queue may be busy or cooldown may apply.
  • Profile/room still blank: wait for queue completion and refresh page.
  • Indexer locked: We're low on storage. You can donate to us to keep the project alive though - ping me in the RR Discord server.
